I am planning to run a regular weekly Craft Clubs in the Mudgeeraba & Varsity Lakes areas on the Gold Coast:

• During weekdays for homeschoolers 

• and after school sessions too.

The first term will be geared towards boys and girls aged 8 and above that are interested in learning to sew and making their own cool stuff!

​

The first 6 week term we will focus on an essential life skill - Learning to Sew!

Together we will create fun projects from felt and learn basic sewing and embroidery skills while having fun and being creative with our hands. Projects are designed for both boys and girls encouraging them to explore their own creativity while also following instructions to complete simple, fun and functional make and takes.

​

Sewing is an important life skill and is sadly becoming a forgotten artform. I hope to introduce kids to a new skill while hoping to inspire a healthy and creative new hobby they can enjoy throughout their lifetime. Participants will also come away with a sewing kit they will have built throughout the term along with loads of informative stitch guides, resources and inspiration to continue on with their sewing journey!
